Civilization: Beyond Earth was al te verkrijgen voor Windows en Mac, maar ontwikkelaar Aspyr Media heeft de titel nu ook overgebracht naar Linux/SteamOS. Hieronder vind je de minimum vereisten waar je Linux-systeem aan moet voldoen.

• Processor: Intel Core i3, AMD A10 
• Memory: 4 GB RAM 
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 260 
• Hard Drive: 8 GB available space
