Bij de BAFTA gaming awards was Mass Effect 2 de grote winnaar. Zo werd de sci-fi RPG van BioWare verkozen tot Best Game. Heavy Rain was de tweede winnaar en ging naar huis met Technical Innovation, Original Music en Story-awards. Hoewel Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood de meeste nominaties kreeg, ging deze alleen met Best Action Game naar huis.
