Codemasters heeft de GRID 2 Race Day Special Edition onthuld. Die levert je twee extra stukjes content op, het IndyCar Pack en het GTR Racing Pack. Het indyCar Pack bevat twee extra routes op het Indianapolis Motor Speedway Circuit plus de Dallara IndyCar en Indy 500 Pace Car extra's voor de Chevrolet Camaro SS en Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition. Het GTR Racing Pack bevat de Nissan GT-R SpecV en de vijf routes rond het Yas Marina-circuit in hun day time-configuratie.
