Microsoft heeft Age of Mythology: Retold aangekondigd. Daarmee krijgt Age of Mythology de Definitive Edition behandeling, met vernieuwde graphics, aangepaste gameplay en meer. Echte beelden van de game zijn er helaas nog niet.
Age of Mythology verscheen in 2002 als een Age of Empires spin-off. De RTS-game gooide een hoop mythologische wezens in de strijd.
