Sony Ericsson gaf naar aanleiding van E3 een lijst met te verwachten games voor de Xperia PLAY vrij. Bij die lijst zitten games die nog nooit op Android het levenslicht zagen en exclusief op Sony's smartphone uitkomen. De grootste titels zijn ongetwijfeld Minecraft en Battlefield Bad Company 2. Die laatste kwam reeds uit voor iPhone en iPad. Wie een andere Android smartphone heeft zal deze dus niet (of veel later) kunnen spelen.
