Microsoft heeft een nieuwe trailer online gezet over Age of Empires Online. In de trailer staat vooral de Egyptische factie centraal. Age of Empires Online zal een gratis te spelen game worden, maar spelers kunnen ervoor kiezen om premium packs te kopen die extra eenheden, PVP, ingame shops of andere opties toevoegen aan de game. Age of Empires Online staat momenteel gepland voor dit jaar, exclusief voor Windows Live.
